Being published sure feels gratifying.
We understand creating a captivating book involves willpower and dedication. Congratulations for coming this far and believing you have an original and substantial idea for a captivating book you want to share with us.
Please know we specialise in illustrated books.
Like other publishers, we have a specific criterion by which we choose the books we go to print with. Although we love and appreciate them, we do not publish children’s books.
A full manuscript is a lot for any publisher to read and does not make a proposal any more inviting. A clear and detailed summary and a little about you will gain the attention of our acquisitions editor.
Successful proposals usually include:
The intent behind the book.
Why the book is a standout.
A narrative description of the proposed book’s theme and place in a bookstore.
What story are you telling?
An explanation of the audience you have in mind.
A comparison of the proposed book to existing books for a similar audience.
A summary of your professional experience, past publications, and relevant research.
A table of contents and a summary of each chapter.
An estimate of the book’s length, including total word count, the number and kind of illustrations, how much of the manuscript is already in draft form, and the time it will take you to complete it.
